This Privacy Policy explains how Southern Sayings (“we,” “us,” the “Service”), operated by White Field Studios, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

You can browse Southern Sayings without an account. When you choose to sign in or make a purchase, we collect:

Google account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and a unique account identifier.
Your saved data — favorites you save and your premium (photo unlock) status, stored under your account.
Payment information — purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details; Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy.
Local preferences — settings such as theme, font size, and background pattern are stored in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain your account and saved favorites.
To grant and verify access to premium photo content you have purchased.
To process payments through our payment provider.
To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Google Firebase (authentication, database, and hosting).
Stripe (payment processing).

Data Retention

We keep your account information and purchase records for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see Contact below). Note that deleting your account also removes your premium photo access.

Your Choices

You can sign out at any time.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
You can clear locally-stored preferences by clearing your browser data.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
