How to Play

Fill the grid so every row, every column, and every box contains each digit exactly once. Tap a cell, then tap a number (or type one).

What the colors mean

  • Dark numbers are the puzzle's clues. They were there when you started and can't be changed or erased.
  • Colored numbers are the ones you placed. Tap the same number again, or press ⌫, to take it back.
  • Red numbers are in conflict — the same digit already appears in that row, column, or box.

Auto-check

Normally a number only turns red when it clashes with another number you can see. With Auto-check on, the game also compares every number you place against the real solution and turns it red the moment it's wrong — even when nothing on the board contradicts it yet. Leave it off if you'd rather catch your own mistakes.

Notes

Turn on ✎ Notes (or press N) to pencil small candidate digits into an empty cell instead of committing to an answer.

Keyboard

Arrow keys move, 1–9 place a number, erases, N toggles notes, Ctrl/⌘+Z undoes.
