Throw a little party for any occasion — cake, balloons, fireworks and more. Pick a scene, add a tune, and celebrate!
Extra occasions, scenes (Trophy & Fireworks), songs (Ode to Joy & Sweetheart Waltz), full screen, dancers, and bigger parties — more candles, balloons, and confetti — are a Premium feature.
Upgrade to PremiumUse your device’s built-in screen recorder to capture the whole celebration — animation, confetti, and sound. For the best clip, start recording, then press Celebrate! (and try Full screen).
Press Shift+⌘+5, choose Record Selected Portion or Record Entire Screen, click Record, then stop from the menu bar. Saves to your Desktop.
Note: QuickTime records the microphone, not system sound — to capture the music, use a free tool like BlackHole from github.com/ExistentialAudio/BlackHole (or brew install blackhole-2ch).
Press Win+G for the Game Bar, then the Record button (or Win+Alt+R to start/stop). Saves an MP4 to Videos › Captures.
Add Screen Recording in Settings › Control Center. Open Control Center, tap the ⏺ record button, then tap the status bar to stop. Saves to Photos.
Swipe down to Quick Settings, tap Screen Record › Start, and stop from the notification. Saves an MP4 to your gallery.
Tip: trim the start and end of the clip afterward, and use Full screen first (where available) for an edge-to-edge recording. Full screen mode is only possible for Premium users.
