Export saves the list you are reading as a small .json
file you can hand to somebody. Plain references, readable and editable in any text
editor. If the list has a look of its own in the Verse Viewer, you are asked whether to
put that in the file too.
Import adds to what you have; it never replaces a list. It asks which list each one should go into, offering the name the file carries. A name you don’t have yet becomes a new list, and cancelling imports nothing at all.
If a file also carries Verse Viewer settings — colors, fonts, background — you are asked whether you want them. They are never taken on their own.
Anything in a file that cannot be read is reported rather than dropped quietly.
