Why I’m sharing it
It brought me back to something I keep having to relearn: God makes each of us unique, on purpose, for His purpose. Not by accident, and not as a rough draft of somebody else. The particular way you’re put together — what you’re drawn to, what you notice that others walk past, even the parts you’d trade away if you could — was His idea first.
Which means the work isn’t to become someone else’s version of useful. It’s to embrace how He made you and spend it on His glory. Comparison gets loud precisely because it wants you to hand back the very thing you were given to use.
That’s what this song keeps circling. Your identity isn’t a verdict you earn or lose depending on the week you’re having. It was settled by the One who made you, and the right response is to take what He gave you and put it to work.
